Hello Steemians!
Hope you all are well and enjoying your life! If you are new to my blogs, you would probably don't know that Bike riding is one of my hobbies and I always enjoy every bit of it. It's my passion and I just love to ride. I have a gang of friends with whom I ride often in remote areas and enjoy beautiful new places. Those who ride bikes know how it feels to race, to talk with the wind, to get dirt on your body and to burn the asphalt road with your tires. Really, We ride like there's no tomorrow! We believe that the best roads are the ones we haven't yet ridden, so often we take our monsters and leave for adventurous trips together! I already posted a small intro blog about it, you can see it at the below of this post.

Now let me introduce you all with my buddies and their monster racing bikes! We basically ride KTM racing bikes which are nowadays very much popular in India and creating a chaos in youngsters! KTM bikes are now on the trending list in the market and everybody loves it. Why wouldn't they! This is a perfect combination of speed, looks and the raw power we need to keep our adrenaline rush!

This is Shuvodip Pyne AKA Pain. He has a KTM RC 200, He is my best friend since my childhood. He is the founder of our gang KTM racing boys. When on road, he doesn't know any limit!

This is our fearless dude Rahul Raj AKA Raaz. He owns a KTM Duke 200. He is an amateur stuntman. He does basic stunts like stoppie, wheely, drifting etc. He is also teaching us stunts. RESPECT you buddy!

Every group does contain a decent chocolate type boy. We have him. He is Sidhu AKA ROCO SIDD. He owns the KTM RC 200 too but with custom modifications. Don't fall with his cuteness.... He is the most Reckless Rider in our gang who have several injury marks for furious driving.

Now, this is Sanki AKA Salman Khan. If you are familiar with Salman Khan, You can definitely guess his character. You don't know who is Salaman Khan? You don't belong to Earth! Google it now!!

Now, I guess You all are thinking where am I? Well, behind the camera friends! Or who will click the photos for you! Thou I do not own a KTM yet, I have a Kawasaki Caliber 115. But I didn't bring it that day. I will buy my KTM dream bike soon, just waiting to get a new job. You wanna see my dream bike? Here it is...!

If you guys want to know some facts and information about KTM bikes, this section is for you, otherwise please don't get bored, skip this section.

  • KTM-sports motorcycle AG has emerged now as a global name for bike lovers.
  • KTM stands for
    • K - Ernst Kronreif (Founder)
    • T - Hans Trunkenpolz (Founder)
    • M - Mattighofen, Austria (Factory Location)
  • It is an Austrian manufacturer company which is owned by Cross industries AG and Indian manufacturer BAJAJ Auto limited.
  • It was first formed in the year 1992. However, the foundation was being laid in 1934.
  • In the 70's, KTM came into prominence. It became a popular and prestigious brand in the market.
  • In 1995 KTM took over Swedish motorcycle maker Husaberg AB and In 1995, Dutch company White Power Suspension has also been taken by it.
  • KTM was the company that launched the first electric powered off-road bike in 2008.
  • The parent company of the KTM Group is KTM AG.

KTM makes some nice motorcycles. I enjoyed my DRZ400SM for many years. Dual Sport bikes are my favorite to ride. Great post Manjo :)

Really cool post... I always liked ktm... would really like an enduro too... I used to ride Honda cbr600rr and had a lot of dangerous fun :) I stick to Vespa now, don’t trust myself with the speed here in California ... drivers are idiots ... nice post though for sure ... love riding with a crew!

Great post @mango-juice. It's very cool you introduced us to your gang. Great write up on each of them 😃 Everyone needs a group of friends like that always need that time to hang out, no matter how old you are.

I like that you included a write up on the bikes too. I've heard of KTM, it was nice to learn more about the bikes.

Rode motorcycles almost all my life.

I remember when - at a very early age (I think around 6 or 7 y/o?), I tried out my friend's DIY mini-bike that had a lawn mower engine.

Loved motorcycles ever since!

As a pre-teen, I raced 125cc's on dirt tracks. My first "real, grown-up bike was a Honda 450 Custom. Had many others over the years, including a sweet Harley Sportster. My last favorite bike was a Honda Shadow 250 in Thailand.

Not sure, but my next bike might be a Ninja...

"Ride, Live, Learn, Laugh, Love, and leave a Legacy."

This is a good post! Love the photos, the biographies of your buddies, and the information about KTM (as I had not heard of them before). I did not need to google Salman Khan, as I already knew who he is — but, you ride with him...?!?!?! How cool that is! 😁 I do not use Facebook now that I have found Steemit, but I followed Salman Khan on Facebook and enjoyed reading about the work his "Being Human" Foundation was doing. 😊

Еще одно приятное открытие – тормоза и шины. Использование «ноунейм» брендов в таких важных деталях мотоцикла всегда пугает, но, в случае с 200 Duke, достойно работают и шины MRF Tyres, и тормоза Bybre. И те, и другие изготовлены в Индии. Как и подобает мотоциклам семейства Дюк, 200-ка укомплектована 4-поршневым радиальным суппортом. Bybre – дочерний бренд Brembo, используемый в производстве малокубатурников для рынков Индии, Китая, России, Бразилии и некоторых других стран. Передний контур гарантирует не только достаточную для 200-ки мощность, но и хорошую информативность. Риск заблокировать колесо появляется только в финальной стадии торможения, для чего нужно очень сильно зажать рычаг тормоза.

Двигатель, в целом, оставил приятное впечатление. Конечно, на гоночном треке 25-сильный мотоцикл – не самый лучший выбор для спортивных достижений. Мотор весело раскручивается до 10000 оборотов, я неоднократно загонял его до ограничителя. Распределение мощности и крутящего происходит плавно, поэтому резко ускоряться на выходе не получается. Наиболее «резвый» режим работы мотора – 7-10 тысяч оборотов, когда дребезжащий глушитель по-спортивному «дерет горло».

А вот система впрыска 200-ки – не самое сильное звено. Инжектор отличается некоторой инертностью, не позволяя ускоряться или тормозить двигателем в тот момент, когда этого хочешь. Ну да, ведь это бюджетный малокубатурный мотоцикл, сделанный в Индии, а не топовый австрийский стрит.
