A little Experiment

I just wanted to update you all about something I am trying out. I mentioned at the beginning that I may play around with HP delegations, as in this account delegating out. I am running a little experiment delegating to brofi.

The reason behind this, well the main reason anyway is a trusted friend gave me a tip a few days ago. I am not sure the details he was vague but the jist was that it will likely be beneficial to delegate if possible.

More information was supposed to be revealed yesterday officially but with the problems with Hive-engine they ( Raymond/BRO) decided to postpone it until the 21.

The number 11 has come up with this. I am not sure if it's a reference to the angel number or something else.

So anyway. I am taking a leap of faith and will be delegating. Worst case scenario I get BRO tokens which are handy to have as they pay out divs. The best case, I may earn a bit.

I am not trying to be vague, I just don't have all the information and don't want to make assumptions. once I do and this new thing launches I will update everyone.

Besides it's low risk- just HP. Curation rewards will go down slightly but that won't affect things here as it will still earn enough to keep things growing. Remember ,this account earns more just in HIVE interest to cover the current token distributions. So taking risks like this are very low risk/high rewrd.

That's the beauty of HP delegations. They don't really cost anything except potential earnings. Right now I am getting about 10% APR in BRO tokens so...that's pretty good and makes up for the loss in curation.

Also just for transparency I did un-delegate 400 tokens from my personal account because my personal account is also doing this experiment.

I don't have all the details but I think this new thing may be temporary. i am not sure how long I will do this. I guess I will wait and see what happens on the 21st. If it is delayed again without explaining exactly what is happening, I will likely just cancel the experiment.
