One thing I am so jealous of you guys living in Europe is all the history so close by where you live. I'm from European ancestry and every time in Europe it's so fun to see all the historic sites. That is such a cool castle you got to visit, you got some awesome pictures. I love the "feel" of such ancient structures, there aren't really any here in the US.

That´s true. We have sooo many of these places, that it´s almost nothing special for me anymore. I tend to forget how special it is.
I love historical site, I've always meant to visit Aachen Cathedral. Charlemagne is one of my great, great, great........grandfathers. And there are so many more castles to explore in Germany. I would probably need to stay for three months to see them all!
Aachen is very nice! I love the city. Yes hundreds of them... It´s crazy! That´s true! :D
