Using Slothbuzz.com like Hive Engage?

Good evening buzzers,

This evening I told myself I wasn't going to write a post, too many replies to make and stuff to get done in the real world...but then I had an idea!

I was having a quick buzz around Slothbuzz Hangs and noticed a handy little feature. The 'replies to me' section. Although Slothbuzz.com is still in its infancy, every feature seems to have a purpose and works pretty darn well! Yes, there are still a few bugs, a few things missing, and some stuff that still looks pretty shitty. But it's an alpha, what do you expect?

I managed to rattle off a bunch of replies and voted back on the comments that were replying to me last night. Most of the replies come from my Hangs or other short-form content posts. It's unbelievably easy to post to 'ALL' major shortform platforms from slothbuzz.

I'll be honest, looking at it like that, I still haven't decided if this is 'spam' or 'reward abuse' or simply smart. I mean, each short-form platform has its own 'container threads'. You only get votes on content people want to upvote, so is it abusing the system, or making the best of a shitty setup? I mean, I don't post the same blog post more than once; I try to make everything unique. Should comments be held to the same level? I'll keep thinking about it and see if anyone has any comments on this way of posting.

Either way, I fired off my replies, did my votes, and had plenty of time left over, so now we're here! Funnily enough, I had mentioned to the dev that we should build some form of 'Hive engage' features into the site. I think it's an awesome tool for Hive users to maximise their time and efficiency. It shows comments/tags for you and the context of where they came from in a clean, quick interface. The @slothbuzz account has been using it, especially recently, to manage the #slothlysavers. So many posts/replies to keep up with, it's the only way a sloth can buzz!

So, whilst the Slothbuzz.com site fleshes out it's notifciation system, I'll continue to try using the replies section to keep my buzz alive! I really can't wait for the mobile app, ecency seems to be the standard for most Hive users using a mobile app, let's see if we can create a buzz and give them a challenge to put that DHF funding to the test and make their app even better too!

I wonder...would anyone support a slothbuzz DHF proposal? I mean, you only really need the votes of the 'Hive whales', but it would be cool to know whether there's community support for such a thing. Slothbuzz is still a small but growing community! Most of the content misses the 'Slothbuzz community' and simply goes to the outpost with the #slothbuzz tag!

Which reminds me of another awesome Slothbuzz.com feature, the 'blogs' page. It's SLOTHTASTIC! I mean, look at the buzz! Things are really starting to come together, I love it!
