Such dependence on centralized Web2 communications platforms makes Hive less decentrallized !INDEED. 🀯

We can assume that that single-letter domain name costs roughly $1,000 a year, and even (much) more if middlemen are involved (as in the case of domain reselling). πŸ’Έ

There are a great many things which make Hive less decentralized. It's far too fragile in its present form.

Yep, it would be a lot, no doubt. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™

Any (secure) voice/video calling available (for the first time) on any Hive (d)app would be great. 😎

I would not suggest to the #DBuzz team (if there is still any active member) to create another Hive funding proposal just for that one. 🀯 They actually !HOPE that some DBuzz users actually host their own DBuzz frontend using FOSS codes freely available on #GitHub. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“

That's already been implemented, and it's now being actively developed on Snapie.io. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I wonder which other projects here on Hive the team members of #Snapie are also managing !INDEED. πŸ€“

Many devs spread their work across many projects, including the ones working on Hangouts and Snapie. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

There also are Hive devs which already struggle with managing even a single project !INDEED, though some would say that having a single project (which needs maintenance) is better than having no project at all. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜…

Yeah, there are lots of those too. I disagree. It's useless to run a project without sufficient time, focus, and commitment to make it worthwhile for anyone, especially over time. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I also think that every project should be managed well, or we would have a huge amount of projects that are not maintained well. 🀯

Anyway, I have run out of tokens to tip for you for today (UTC), so it would be @savvytester who would reply to you !INSTEAD for the rest of the day. πŸ’Έ Whenever I start my first commenting session on any day (UTC), I tip usually tip you 4 to 5 tokens per comment, then gradually lower until my tips per comment go down to 2 or 1. πŸ˜…

That's how things are now.

OK, sounds good, and I noticed. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Perhaps there could be an initiative to revive old, unmaintained FOSS codes (Hive projects in this case for the Hive blockchain) to give "second life" to those apps. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

I assume that you mean that it has been a few years since you noticed that I tip you a lot of tokens early on any given day (UTC), then gradually decrease until I tip you only BEER or !ALIVE (like on this comment). πŸ˜…

There needs to be some viable reason and motivation to do so, and under the present conditions, the opposite is the case.

I have no idea about years, but I notice patterns quite quickly, so yours and your savvy friend's have been quite obvious. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
