New Class

One of the random short stories that I had written for fun. I had a few unrelated phrases that had to be put together to make a story and I came up with the below to combine them all.

He woke up earlier on that day. It was the first day of the week. He was hopeful or, stressed out. Probably a combination of both. He was starting a new class. His teacher was able to see that on his face. His teacher was thinking that he looks busy or depressed. But, really is he...? The only way to find out is to a quick chat with him.
After the class, they sat down and had a quick chat. The teacher rushed into making things looks smooth. So, the teacher asked: Is the new subject stressing you out? Without waiting for his reply, the teacher continues saying: It is autumn and the weather could not get any better. If you feel that way, then you should delay that feeling to enjoy the weather at this time of the year. He said: I'm not sure where did you get that thought from. But, thanks for the quick chat. The teacher replied: Do you really not feel that way? and continued with saying: I hope so.
