This post is going be a short review about Waiting For Godot.

Waiting For Godot is a play written by the Irish author Samuel Beckett. It was written between 1948 and 1949 and first published in 1952. The first time it was performed was the following year (1953). The original language is English. The genre of the play is: tragicomedy.

Review:
The play is about two guys waiting for another guy named Godot. Seeing the act and reading the play are two different experiences. As, the play shows two people standing in front of a tree with no leaves. Waiting all day for someone that does not show up. Beckett's writing delves into the philosophical aspect of hope. Where one might have a false hope. But, that what would keep them going. Or, as shown in the play, keeps them waiting and repeating the same things over and over.

Esperando Godot é uma peça escrita pelo autor irlandês Samuel Beckett. Foi escrita entre 1948 e 1949 e publicada pela primeira vez em 1952. Sua estreia ocorreu no ano seguinte (1953). O idioma original é o inglês. O gênero da peça é tragicomédia.

Resenha:
A peça conta a história de dois homens que esperam por um terceiro homem chamado Godot. Assistir à peça e lê-la são experiências diferentes. A peça mostra duas pessoas em pé diante de uma árvore sem folhas, esperando o dia todo por alguém que não aparece. A escrita de Beckett explora o aspecto filosófico da esperança, onde alguém pode ter uma falsa esperança, mas que é justamente o que mantém a pessoa em pé. Ou, como mostrado na peça, o que a mantém esperando e repetindo as mesmas coisas indefinidamente.
