Life passed by so quickly. He realized that he is almost fifty years old now. Taking care of his family is the main priority now. That is when he realized that it is important to take life insurance.

It never occurred to him before that at a certain point, his life would be calculated. That his time will not be measured in the joys of the moment or, pursuing goals and dreams. But, as a mathematical calculation. Something that is would rather make more sense being written down on a piece of paper, than lived as a story. It is not a journey to him anymore. But, the harsh reality questioning meaning at a time that he could not handle all the responsibility.

He knew that he had to make the decision of securing a future for his kids. Time is running out. He knew that a policy number, would be beneficial to them, even if it means that he is currently calculating his time left. He was shocked after taking that decision! He did not know that his need to continuously visit the doctor's office for checkup would be the reason for a rejection. He tried multiple vendors with no luck. Till he started to think of alternative. Nothing came to mind. But, a small monthly saving was his last resort. At least, it is something that partially gave him peace.

A vida passou tão rápido. Ele percebeu que já estava quase com cinquenta anos. Cuidar da família era a principal prioridade agora. Foi então que ele percebeu a importância de fazer um seguro de vida.

Nunca lhe ocorrera antes que, em determinado momento, sua vida seria calculada. Que seu tempo não seria medido pelas alegrias do momento ou pela busca de objetivos e sonhos, mas sim como um cálculo matemático. Algo que faria mais sentido escrito em um pedaço de papel do que vivido como uma história. Não era mais uma jornada para ele, mas a dura realidade questionava o sentido da vida em um momento em que ele não conseguia lidar com todas as responsabilidades.

Ele sabia que precisava tomar a decisão de garantir o futuro dos filhos. O tempo estava se esgotando. Sabia que um seguro seria benéfico para eles, mesmo que isso significasse que ele estava calculando o tempo que lhe restava. Ficou chocado ao tomar essa decisão! Não imaginava que a necessidade de ir constantemente ao médico para exames seria o motivo da recusa. Tentou várias seguradoras, sem sucesso, até que começou a pensar em alternativas. Nada lhe veio à mente. Mas uma pequena poupança mensal era seu último recurso. Pelo menos, era algo que lhe trazia alguma paz.
