It is the first day of summer. The day that they have been waiting for. The four of them have been planning for the past two weeks, until they have decided to make it simple and just gather near the sea deck. The sea waters seemed calmer than ever. The weather was not too hot. The city was too quiet across. They could see all the buildings on the other side. Few trees on the side of the buildings. The tall landmark in the middle with a green domed roof.

All four of them were standing on that sea deck next to the boat. Discussing to take an hour ride. Except, for John. He was trying to convince the others to swim a bit before, trying any of the activities there. They did not intend to ignore his suggestion. But, were too busy talking about other activities. He ran to the edge and jumped into the water. It was warm at the time. They noticed him swimming and decided to join in. They did not realize how long they spent in the waters, until it was starting to get dark. They decided to leave and call it a day.

Era o primeiro dia do verão. O dia que eles tanto esperavam. Os quatro planejaram tudo nas últimas duas semanas, até que decidiram simplificar e se reunir perto do convés do barco. As águas pareciam mais calmas do que nunca. O clima não estava muito quente. A cidade estava tranquila do outro lado. Eles podiam ver todos os prédios do outro lado. Algumas árvores ao lado dos edifícios. O imponente ponto turístico no meio, com sua cúpula verde.

Os quatro estavam no convés, ao lado do barco, discutindo sobre um passeio de uma hora. Todos, menos John. Ele tentava convencer os outros a nadar um pouco antes de experimentarem alguma das atividades disponíveis. Eles não queriam ignorar a sugestão, mas estavam ocupados demais conversando sobre outras coisas. Ele correu até a borda e pulou na água. Estava quente. Eles o viram nadando e decidiram se juntar a ele. Não perceberam quanto tempo ficaram na água até que começou a escurecer. Decidiram ir embora e encerrar o dia.
