She was still trying to deliver a message. She kept explaining the concept for few more times. It seems that there was a reason for all that distraction. The classroom was quiet. There is no sounds coming from outside. But, their concentration is gone. The teacher had a tough time that first day of school.

The bell rang! It was an end of first school day. The seven year old boy gathered his stuff and went back home with his mother. In the car, she was trying to have a conversation with him about school. Apparently, he was seeing something invisible in the clear sky. Keeping him from paying attention to her.

They finally reached home. They had a short lunch. Then, he went straight to his room to play video games. His mom went to check up on him. As soon as she did, she realized it. She has seen it all at that moment. All those screens around home. All this technology. It has not given him advantage. Certainly, did not make him get along with others better, or be more relevant. There lies the reason for all the distraction. They caused some isolation and kept his mind focused on them the whole time. Then, she decided that it is time to isolate from the virtual world and get back to reality.

Ela ainda tentava transmitir a mensagem. Continuou explicando o conceito mais algumas vezes. Parecia haver um motivo para toda aquela distração. A sala de aula estava silenciosa. Não havia sons vindos de fora. Mas a concentração deles havia desaparecido. A professora teve dificuldades naquele primeiro dia de aula.

O sinal tocou! Era o fim do primeiro dia de aula. O menino de sete anos juntou suas coisas e voltou para casa com a mãe. No carro, ela tentava conversar com ele sobre a escola. Aparentemente, ele estava vendo algo invisível no céu claro, o que o impedia de prestar atenção nela.

Finalmente chegaram em casa. Almoçaram rapidamente. Depois, ele foi direto para o quarto jogar videogame. A mãe foi ver como ele estava. Assim que o fez, percebeu. Ela tinha visto tudo naquele momento. Todas aquelas telas em casa. Toda aquela tecnologia. Não lhe trouxe nenhuma vantagem. Certamente, não o ajudou a se relacionar melhor com os outros, nem a ser mais relevante. Aí reside o motivo de toda a distração. Eles causaram certo isolamento e mantiveram a mente dele focada neles o tempo todo. Então, ela decidiu que era hora de se isolar do mundo virtual e voltar à realidade.
