It was a big round hat that was made of hay. It used to be part of fashion that turned into a trend then, into a part of tradition wear. The city later was named after it, as The City Of Hats.

In a partly cloudy day in the middle of the week. The time where everyone was busy in their own business. A new visitor come to town. She saw everyone wearing those hats. She bought one, just like everyone else to be part of the community. She walked around the place trying to find someone to talk to. But, everyone does not seem to have time for more than a small talk. She walked passed the big white market building, which had a surrounding of a brick floor, and is placed just after the park. Where all the greenery of the city is at.

There she met, a commoner who seemed to be a little more free than everyone else. She stopped her to get some information about the place, before she report it back to her town. She started with a long introduction about herself. But, she has not mentioned anything about the business mission that she was taking. To her surprise, the person she chose to talk was just staring at her the whole time. As if she was talking Gebrish. A whole day passed by, and she was not able to make any progress.

Era um grande chapéu redondo feito de palha. Antes, fazia parte da moda, que se tornou tendência e, posteriormente, parte do vestuário tradicional. Mais tarde, a cidade recebeu o nome em homenagem a ele: a Cidade dos Chapéus.

Num dia parcialmente nublado, no meio da semana, quando todos estavam ocupados com seus próprios afazeres, uma nova visitante chegou à cidade. Ela viu todos usando aqueles chapéus e comprou um, como todos os outros, para se sentir parte da comunidade. Caminhou pela cidade tentando encontrar alguém para conversar, mas ninguém parecia ter tempo para mais do que uma breve conversa. Passou pelo grande mercado branco, com piso de tijolos ao redor, localizado logo após o parque, onde se concentrava toda a vegetação da cidade.

Lá, encontrou uma plebeia que parecia um pouco mais descontraída do que os outros. Abordou-a para obter algumas informações sobre o lugar, antes de relatar o ocorrido à sua cidade. Começou com uma longa apresentação sobre si mesma, mas não mencionou nada sobre a missão comercial que estava cumprindo. Para sua surpresa, a pessoa com quem ela escolheu conversar ficou apenas olhando para ela o tempo todo. Como se ela estivesse falando em alemão coloquial. Um dia inteiro se passou e ela não conseguiu avançar em nada.
