New Zealand - Ending The Trip On A High At Auckland Sky Tower

Hello there!
Having completed my earlier travel posts on several interesting countries and regions, including Japan, Maldives, Indonesia, US and the latest one being several countries in Europe, it's time to fly south and share on one of most picturesque countries in the world, and that's New Zealand!
This trip was took place several years back in 2015, and the trip was filled with adventures and many unique activities and experiences.
Here are the posts so far:
Day Hike @ Tongariro Alpine Crossing
New Zealand - Dolphin Watching At Bay Of Islands
New Zealand - Exploring The Scenic Otehei Bay
New Zealand - Visiting Cape Reinga Lighthouse At The Northernmost Tip
New Zealand - The Maori Village Experience
New Zealand - A Unique Farm Experience And More!
New Zealand - A Trip To The Hobbiton Movie Set
As you can tell from the earlier posts, this New Zealand trip was packed with adventures and we explored a lot of places and did a lot of activities as well. In the final days, we also spent time within the Auckland city as well. It was pretty laid back and one of the must visit attractions was definitely the Auckland Sky Tower! Look how tall the Sky Tower is!

Did you know the Sky Tower is the tallest building in the southern hemisphere? At more than 328 metres tall, it towers over most parts of the city and being someone who likes to visit observatories over the world and admire the landscape view of the cities from a height, I was definitely looking forward to this one!

And we made it to the observatory! Wow the views were awesome! Before I leave you to enjoy the views, I just want to say I always feel that cities near the coast always bring a different dimension to the experience. While it is common for most cities to have green spaces, tall skyscrapers, not all of them look out to the rivers and seas, not all of them have mountains and islands, and Auckland is definitely one of the more unique cities that offers this level of experience.

For those who are brave enough, they do have some form of a Sky Walk on the exterior of the tower and from there, you can get a "live" view of the city, instead of being behind a glass panel. I didn't feel like taking the risk and was very contented admiring the views within the observatory. Hehe!

One last look at the Auckland Sky Tower before we say goodbye to Auckland and New Zealand!

With that, after 8 posts (including this one), we have definitely come to an end for my New Zealand trip! That said, New Zealand definitely has a lot more to offer and I obviously could not cover all the attractions within my two week trip. I should also say that I only shared the key attractions because I also spent quite a considerable amount of time just chilling around the city. So if you are not the adventurous type, you would still be able to find something to do too! You probably think I am some kind of ambassador if I keep going on and on, but from a general perspective, each of my journeys brings about different experiences and opens my eyes to the big world out there, so there's no comparison as to which country is better than which. Lastly, hope you have enjoyed my posts in this series! And thanks to everyone for the support and engagement - I like reading the comments each time! Totally appreciate it!
