Introvert Talks - Waiting For Clearer Skies

"Introvert Talks" is meant to be a new initiative or theme, where I myself as an introvert, just talk about reflections and thoughts about my life, or maybe share more personal stuff. :)
This is my weekly post under this "Introvert Talks" theme and let's see where it takes me and us.
I can't remember when the haze started, but apparently my body has started keeping track.
It's been so hazy these days, and the air quality has been labelled as "Unhealthy" so often. The haze has been around for so long until I can't remember when it actually started. Has it been a month already?
Of course, it's not the first time we are seeing the haze. And everyone knows the drill. Check hourly updates on the official sites to plan our activities. Minimise outdoor activities (fortunately we have many air-conditioned shopping malls) and vigorous exercises (and air-conditioned gyms as well).
But this time it seemed to have dragged on for longer than usual. I remembered at the initial days, some of the people around me had headaches or other symptoms because of the air quality, as there are harmful particles in the air that will affect our lungs. I was feeling okay, which was kind of surprising.
Perhaps I got complacent. Perhaps it was a sooner or later thing. As the haze continued, my eyes began to feel irritated, which was not so bad since there's stuff like eye drops to mitigate the discomfort. Then my nose started to give problems, and was dripping mucus non-stop at some point. I tried to rest more, and avoid going outdoors unless necessary, and it helped to some extent. And now my throat feels itchy and it makes me want to cough to relieve the itch. It's the not "sick" type of cough but just itchy, which I guess is due to the haze as well.
I know this is not a life or death issue, but I really wonder when this is going to be over, because it's starting to affect my day to day life, like having to reduce exercise (which is not good for health) and all the random discomfort in different parts of my body. Not to mention, it makes me feel tired more easily also.
Here's a photo a few weeks ago, when the haze was less bad. For the live situation, you can probably catch the F1 Grand Prix this weekend! Can't believe the entire world will be seeing the haze situation over here... Unless the winds decide to miraculously change directions and blow the dust away. Haha.
