Indonesia - Conquering New Heights In Bintan
Hello there!
Having completed my earlier travel posts on several interesting countries and regions, including Japan, Maldives, Indonesia, US, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and the latest one being United Kingdom, I was going through my past travel photos, and I found this folder called "2011 Bintan".
Looking through the photos brought back special memories because this was the first time I actually travelled solo and as a very young adult, this was both an exciting and scary experience at the same time. Looking back, I was indeed brave and I think the trip was not just a personal milestone, but it made me more independent and was definitely good for my personal growth too.
Here's my earlier post(s) from this series!
Indonesia - A Solo Escape To Bintan
Rise and shine! I got up in the morning and this time I had more time to explore the resort and see what they have got to offer. The morning photographs of the resort did feel more vibrant compared to the evening ones, I guess it's because the sunlight is better.
The pool was relatively quiet still, even though it got crowded towards the late morning when a group of foreign tourists checked into the resort.
Time for some morning beach photos! Definitely looked better! At that moment, it just felt that I could just chill here for a little longer, but unfortunately, my trip was just a short getaway.
And then I chanced upon this structure! It was quite hot because it was approaching noon, but since it was open, I knew I had to experiment with this! things that young people do... I probably will give it a miss at this age now.
This was taken when I was in the middle of the structure. Probably taking a break and enjoying the view at the same time!
And I reached the top of the platform!! Breathtaking sights!! Definitely a well deserved reward for my efforts! Bintan is definitely beautiful and a great place for a beach getaway.
And that was the highlight for this trip! This was supposed to be relaxing and restful break but I surprised myself by participating in some physical activity within the facilities in the resort, and it was both a fun and awesome experience! Sometimes, it's these little adventures in our daily lives that add colour to our life experience.
And that's all I have today! Have you been to Bintan or Indonesia? Let me know in the comments below!

Yay awesome!
That pool looks awesome and I love the palm trees.
It's cool to scroll through old photographs every now and then.
I've put my travel photos in a wallpaper slideshow in windows, so I get a new old travel photo every day.
