Good local knowledge tip! running trail in the snow instead of the road or path, I never would have known that. I suppose it is because we never get snow in Queensland. Did you know the trail well I would be worried the snow would cover holes and trip hazards up.

I started with a part that I am pretty familiar with, but went to a more unfamiliar route afterwards. Yeah, in trail especially with snow I reduce step lenghts to be more flexible to adjust to holes or other obstacles! Here we have roughly 10 days of snow a year, always fun!
