Season 23: Match Day 7 (End of League Stage)
Good day,
Tuesday and has brought changes to the standings table. @merthin, the leader after 6 matches, lost to @homesteadlt. Btw, the latter was the only qualifier who won in the last round of matches!
The League Stage has ended with the Defending Champion at the top of the standings. Same amount of points have been gained by @cezary-io, @merthin, @danmaruschak, @wahacoce (debutante) and @erikklok (runner-up last season). The position is decided by total scores. The top 4 player can meet one another only in the semifinals - if they survive thus far (last season, none of the top 4 reached the semis!).
@benbow2017 and @revlat35 (another debutante) join the aforementioned players in the Top 8. It means they all can rest until the Round of 16, which will be held on Wednesday, Aug 27.
Players who finished in places 9-24 will battle this coming Saturday, Aug 23 in a Knock-out Round. Its winners will join the Top 8.
@elizabethbit, @pjansen, @alovely088 and @ptaku end the competition here. The latter two have been disqualified due to 3 walkovers.

After 7 Match Days, the top 8 players will advance directly to the Playoffs, Round of 16 and will be seeded there. Players ranked in places 9-24, will play an additional Knock-out round and its winners will join the R16.
The table order is determined by:
- points,
- total score ("For" column)
If 2 or more players are equal as per above criteria, the position in the @macfit ranking before the season will be the tie-breaker. For not ranked players, the position achieved in Qualifications will be taken into account
