A Misty Start, Then Light.
The other day, I left the house earlier than usual, a time when my neighborhood hadn’t fully woken up. I had an appointment out of town, so I needed to head out early in order to get there on time.
As I passed my neighbour's car parked in the front yard, I noticed the windshield was damp with dew. The air was cool and still, the kind that makes sound feel softer. Luckily, I had my jacket on.
Outside the gate, a beautiful sight awaited me - mist in the air, the sun trying to push through, its glimmer caught in the mist, and breaking into soft beams between the trees.
It’s been a long time since I saw a morning like this. Not dramatic, not loud — just quiet, and a little dreamy. It was a stunning sight, I tell you.
I didn’t have time to stop for long. But I had enough time to grab my phone and take some shots before heading out. Some moments don’t wait, and this felt like one of them.

There’s something about mornings like this that make you slow down when you’re rushing, even if it’s just for a few seconds. Glad I did.
Have you seen a misty morning recently?
