I understand @fonestreet when you say that the graffiti is your release. We each need to find something in our lives that calm us when the storms appear and rage. For me, it's fiction writing and designing mixed media art projects. Often, when situations occur that I feel are out of my control because I can't fix them or others won't listen to me until the crap hits the fan, I have to realize that I alone can't fix what's wrong with my family and friends, or the larger ills of the world. It's frustrating sometimes when I try my best to advise others, but my words fall on deaf ears.

I want to shut others off because they didn't listen knowing a crisis will befall them. I don't want to help when they come running, but I always am their backup plan. Sometimes, their only plan. They only see the exterior hard stone version of me that portrays strength they can run to. Then I think, who will be there to catch me or be my backup when I falter. It's then I realize the answer is no one, but God. And that's what keeps me going.

Beautiful words that demonstrate the strength behind faith! Thank you very much for sharing with us your testimony of struggle and we know that it is not easy to be a hard rock and we all have moments where we falter and yet we resist with courage.

No, it's not easy, and sometimes we just want to cast the burden from our shoulders. But then I think of the verse that assures me that nothing will be placed upon me that I can't bear.
