Primer día de trabajo - (esp/eng)

El día de hoy fue diferente a los demás días, diferente desde hace años ya, pues después de mucho tiempo, empecé a trabajar. Debido a que tengo un problema con mi rodilla se me dificulta mucho conseguir trabajo y mas aun en la situación económica del pais, por lo que he estado sin oficio hace mucho tiempo, esto hizo que me dedique a beber y salir cuando me invitaban ya que al no tener nada que hacer a todo decía que si.

Mi día empezó muy temprano, exactamente a las 5:30, el lugar donde laboro esta a una hora y media de donde vivo por lo que fue un largo viaje para llegar y no conocía mucho el sector por lo que me perdí un poco. Tengo un largo viaje por carretera antes de llegar.

Today was different from all the other days, unlike anything I've done in years, because after a long time, I finally started working. Because I have a problem with my knee, it's very difficult for me to find work, especially given the country's economic situation. I've been unemployed for a long time, which led me to spend my time drinking and going out whenever I was invited, since I had nothing to do and I always said yes to everything.

My day started very early, at 5:30 a.m. exactly. The place where I work is an hour and a half from where I live, so it was a long commute, and I didn't know the area very well, so I got a little lost. I have a long drive ahead of me.

El lugar era una zona alejada de la ciudad, un sector industrial pero finalmente llegue, todo era dentro de esta puerta y mi día comenzó.

Estuve ayudando con un poco de archivos y recolección de datos en lo que me instalaban mi computadora, eso fue casi toda la mañana pero ya en la tarde pude ayudar desde la computadora buscando unos documentos que me pedían para una auditoria.

Me dieron un almuerzo algo malo la verdad pero el ambiente laboral me gustó, una vez dieron las 5 pm salí del lugar e hice mi gran viaje de regreso a la ciudad, llegue algo cansado pero me alegro ver a mis gatos esperándome, le deje las llaves de mi casa a mi mami para que alimente a mis niños y de paso ella arreglo mi casa, la amo, fue un lindo retorno.

I helped out with some filing and data collection while they were setting up my computer. That took up almost the entire morning, but in the afternoon I was able to help from the computer by looking for some documents they needed for an audit.

They gave me a rather poor lunch, to be honest, but I liked the work environment. Once it was 5 pm, I left and made my long trip back to the city. I arrived a little tired, but I was happy to see my cats waiting for me. I left the keys to my house with my mom so she could feed my kids, and she also cleaned up my house. I love her; it was a lovely homecoming.

Una vez en casa ahora estoy descansando y a pesar de sentirme muy cansado, estoy feliz y es lo que les quiero transmitir hoy, lo necesitaba, sentirme útil de nuevo, espero que las cosas vayan a mejor de aquí en adelante, y como estuvo tu inicio de semana?
