My Weekend [Friday] Diary | Alive and Thriving on Aug 15, 2025

Hi there. How are you? I hope you are doing great. Welcome to my Post. It's the alive and thriving report on Friday, Aug 15, 2025.

My weekend started performing the Fajr prayer in the mosque, Alhamdulillah. On returning home, I recited Surah Al-Kahf, and I finished it in one sitting. Afterwards, I had a long second round of morning sleep.

I woke up after 9 am and had my breakfast. I did a little bit of house chores. After 10 am, we went out in our car. We visited a supermarket and purchased a cloth for my wife. Then we went to a cheap store and bought a few food items.

On returning home from the market, we prepared for the Jummah prayer. My elder son and I left at around 11:50 am to attend the prayer. It ended in one hour.

After lunch, I worked on the laptop. I also helped my son with his studies. We skipped the nap. We went to the mosque to offer the Asr prayer. The sky was pretty cloudy, and some time later, it rained for a short period.

In the afternoon, I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Later, we all went to the park. My elder son enjoyed the swings and the slides. We returned home before sunset!

In the evening, we went to the Lulu Hypermarket for our weekly shopping. But we bought groceries, fruits, vegetables, etc. On our way back, we entered the 3-Riyal shopping center too! We also bought a few gift items from there. We returned home at around 9 pm.

On Friday, I managed to make 13,635 steps (according to the Fitbit app). These steps earned me 0.62 $SWEAT!

Okay. That's all for today. Alhamdulillah, I am alive, healthy, and thriving. How about you?
