Alive and Thriving on Monday

My car's registration expired on the 22nd of August. Being an old car (over 10 years old), online registration wasn't possible. Hence, I needed to go to the police headquarters' vehicle inspection center for the car's fitness test. Last year, due to discoloration of the Engine cover, the fitness wasn't given on the first try. Later, after coloring the part, I got the fitness clearance. This time, I was a bit tense about whether the office would find any other problem with the car!

After cleaning the car, I left home around 7 am and headed to the police headquarters. I reached there in 15 minutes. Four vehicles were already waiting in the queue (in two rows). I was third in a row. The officer came after 7:30 am. Alhamdulillah, my car got the fitness clearance without any issues. Later, I went to another counter to get the new registration card. It cost me 28 OMR (~73 USD) for one year!

For the car renewal purpose, I took my morning shift off. After returning home from the police headquarters, I rested a bit. Later, my elder son and I went to my son's school. His new school year is going to start next week. The admission wasn't done yet. So, we went to finish the admission process!

On our way back home, we went to a barbershop to have my son's haircut. We planned to do it next Friday, but as I took the shift off and had time in hand, we decided to finish it earlier.

The home water filter system was having some issues. So, we called the filter guy who installed it before. After returning home from the barbershop, the filter guy came. He changed all the kits and the water container. Now, it's working fine. The changes cost me 24 OMR (~62 USD)!

I joined the evening shift at 4 pm, and it ended at 9 pm. I consulted 10 patients during that shift. There was no emergency case. I examined a few people who came for the visa medical fitness test.

I couldn't walk on the treadmill. I had a long afternoon nap. I managed to make over 10k steps :)

Passive and Extra HIVE Earnings

The main category of earning on HIVE is posting and commenting to earn author's rewards (At least for me)! Other ways of getting Layer-1 and Layer-2 assets are considered passive and extra earnings. This report is to give an idea to the fellow authors about what methods are available for earnings other than author rewards! As most of my HP is delegated out, my curation rewards are almost zero!
