🎶 Gene & Ashlees DailyJams For Alt2k Wednesday! Picking Tunes From 2000’s Alternative Rock Every Wednesday! 🎸
Phoenix (2009) & Fitz and The Tantrums (2010)

No vlog today, just will be sharing some of our fav 2000’s alternative tunes! As usual we will each pick a different band/artist & pick one album by each band. We’ll pick a DailyJam & BonusJam off record so two tunes each!

First up Ashlee picks the band Phoenix
And there 2009 released album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” one of alt/indie rock’s most popular artists in the 2009-2011 era. Picking the song “Lisztomania” as DailyJam! For BonusJam it’s the song “1901”.

I (Gene) pick the band Fitz and the Tantrums
Who have kinda a Motown vibe honestly. It’s a very interesting sound and not like most alt2k stuff I pick, but different is good sometimes. Let me know if you can hear the Motown influence I mentioned. The album was released in 2010 9 months after Ashlee’s pick, and was titled “Pickin' Up the Pieces”. For DailyJam I pick the song “Moneygrabber” which I remember discovering randomly on VH1 on a Saturday morning while in bed. I really liked it! For BonusJam I go with the albums opening track “Breakin' the Chains”. Enjoy my friends! Cheers!

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive

They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years

So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new

But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
