It’s Alt2k Wednesday once again! This week we will pick DailyJam’s released in the 2000’s but this week we focus on older artists who had careers and albums many years prior to the era we choose from today!

Ashlee picks Nine Inch Nails and picks her DailyJam from the 2005 album “With Teeth” choosing the song “The Hand That Feeds”. For BonusJam it’s a song off the following album 2007’s “Year Zero” choosing the song “Survivalism”.

I (Gene) pick the artist Gary Numan best known for his song Cars from 1979. Gary Numan disappeared for many years and ironically was inspired by artists like Nine Inch Nails to return years later, ironic because Trent from NIN was influenced by him in the late Eighties! Talk about full circle! I pick the song “My Nane Is Ruin” for my DailyJam from the 2017 album “Savage”. Moving on to his next album “Intruder” released in 2021 I pick the title track “Intruder” for my BonusJam!

I do a much deeper dive and long form vlog on Tuesdays & Friday (ThreeTuneTuesday & NinetiesFriday). On Wednesday & Saturday we usually keep it more brief and just pick tunes to share for Alt2k Wednesday & Eighties Saturday! Enjoy!
