RE: Is there still a buzz on Hive?

Hey buzzers! What's new?

Yeah, there is still a buzz on Hive. I have not been buzzing around much on Hive for over a month now and that is ok. Cause I am a "one-of" operation where I have many roles to play.

I fully appreciate the reaching out for more interest and engagement from the Hive community. This has been a challenege for my own project and I am managing the best I can to keep all my token uses cases ideas alive.

However, to build a community and really flourish, it requires more than that. More than one little sloth can do for himself, that's for sure.

Agree. I can relate. So lets us not forget to move a mountain we start with picking away at a few pebbles. Those few pebble movements must align with an overall objective and purpose. Once you have your pupose well defined then you can chip away at other pebbles.

I have been chipping away on Hive since March 2023, thinking/hoping that I would have more engagement in my use cases by this time but that is ok cause the #FUN has been in the process and not the destination. Hard to set realistic targets when you are not in complete control of all variables that can impact a project.

I am a "one-of" and I am glad that I am not alone. I don't know why that makes me feel better. !LOLZ

So, I guess, the question is...is anyone still here?

I am still here and happy to buy tokens people dump when I see a potential to sell at a future date for a profit. My spider sense says you are still motivated to raising the value of your token use case. And the fact that you are open to collaboration means a potential for some synergy going forward.

The last couple of months has been extremely busy for me offline. After some scammer on Hive stole from my project, I have had to make some design change in my project model to better focus on collaborating with Hivers I can trust and verify. Also, I have not been pleased with the performance of trading on Hive (Tribaldex/HE). I don't mean my performance. I mean the slow response of placing orders and seeing orders adjusted because the system didn't handle decimal number precision issues. And then there was the introduction of BEED token idea where traders pay a fee to trade. And then there is the cost of Hive tools and services paid via BEE tokens. Not to mention the abuse of power and infuence by Hivers that have a big wallet and figure their ideas are more valuable than a use case from a "one-of" operation.

I would think if you see value from your use case, you should continue to pick away as long as it aligns with your purpose for using Hive.

My mindset has shifted because of global market unknowns. The fact that USA tariffs are predatory to most countries and the "Orange Jesus" sees no value in Canada has caused me to cancel streaming services as well as hosting services from US companies. So sometimes we cut known losses to avoid greater unknown losses. So Hive platform still looks good to me regardless of the price of Hive. So we adjust strategies accordingly.

May Positive pepEntropy be with you.

You know, the fun of Hive is what keeps us here and buzzing! Of course, it's easy to pick at flaws, but there's genuine positivity below the pressure of whales who 'control' things here. All of us 'one-offs' have taken on a lot of responsibility, as you mention, which heavily relies on the underlying technology, some of which can be a bit of a let-down at times. Tribaldex/Hive-engine, for example. Although not always within anyone's control, we have to ebb and flow with our expectations.

We continue to buzz; sloth steps forward. Looking forward to watching your projects continue to build out and become a more integral part of Hive. #Toofuckeh with the bad apples, keep building the positivity on Hive!
