some summer mushrooms
this is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
here are a few shots of various mushrooms i have found on different walks around local forests in July. in this post i am not so concerned with identifying them or whether they are edible, it's more an appreciation of their forms, colors, conditions and surroundings

while this fungus is feeding off the wooden stick...

a snail is feeding off the mushroom, the fruiting body of the fungus

i took all these shots with my S22 in three different nearby forests in southern Norway. i have done some basic editing on my laptop- cropping contrast, saturation, exposure and vignettes with the standard free version of windows photo.

🍄 These mushrooms images are beautiful and give me the impression that the surrounding forest is rich and free form toxins , as evidenced by the signs of insect feeding.
thanks and yes the forests are clean and natural, though there are a few exceptions near roads where people used to dump old equipment. i don't look for mushrooms there
thank for your continued support

I saw some mushrooms for the first time, but they were all beautiful. I don't know if they are poisonous or not, but I would like to taste them. :))
