we are here enjoying the pleasant sunny summer weather, all the more so after the victory over Brasil in the football world cup. but we hear reports that it's very hot farther south in Europe and over in America not to mention intolerable conditions in much of Africa, Asia and parts of South America. so i thought i should post a wintry reflection that might help cool you off a bit if you happen to be suffering from the heat.

this shack is local station the of the Norwegian sea rescue organization. the rescue boat is not at dock in the photos but i doubt it was out on a rescue mission since the weather and sea are calm enough to allow for a decent reflection in the harbor
