sometimes shadows can be quite surprising. when a group of 4 people are out walking together in the sun we may normally expect to see four individual shadows, of course likely with some overlap. but in this case while taking a stroll along the harbor the positioning of the people to each other combined with the angle of the sun resulted in the shadows being aligned in pairs. the shadows of the two people on the right meld together to form one distinct shadow. likewise for the two on the left. so we see two distinct curious formed shadow figures with lots of legs but lacking some arms.
