entry smash 406: exhilarating shadow hunting

Shadow hunters in Norway encounter unique opportunities while driving in the mountains. there are special stops along the road where architects have gone out of their way to create special patterns and designs. here at Gudbrandsjuvet is one example.

it's well worth a stop to enjoy the everchanging shadows along this elevated curved walkway with the metal rods that create shadows you probably will not find anywhere else in the world.

and the walkway is surprisingly extensive with different shadows everywhere depending on the angle to the sun. now of course not everyone is equally thrilled to get glimpses of all these great shadows. so there is another attraction to encourage folks to take a break from the driving and enjoy some real Norwegian mountain nature.

the walkway is suspended above a complex raging gorge with water rushing from several directions, making the shadow hunting experience all the more exhilarating.

This is indeed a shadow hunting. The views are breathtaking. They each have their own unique beauty. So difficult for me to actually pick out the most outstanding.
