i don't do much macro photography, mostly because my phone camera is not particularly well suited for it. if i get too close the image becomes blurred, as here but since this is a shadow contest and not a photography contest i decided it would be okay to sneak this one in. there's a field of sunflowers not far down the road. i'm not sure why they grow them but for kr 10 a piece, roughly 1 USD you can pick some. they can't sell many this way but that is what they do. it's free to go in the field and take photos, so of course after taking a few shots of some nice flowers i started looking for butterflies and bees and such. and sure enough there were bumblebees in quite a few of the flowers. now i don't know whether this flower had stamens or pistils but together with the bee they made a curious shadow
