most of the boats in the harbor are in dry dock by the end of November when i took these shots. since it's lobster season until the 30th a few boats remain. the smaller lighter boats use the ramp but this crane launch has been in frequent use lifting the heavier wooden boats.

it was an unusually calm afternoon in an otherwise windy season. and since there wasn't any boat traffic in the harbor it was a great opportunity to focus in on some reflections.

while i like the clear reflections of the entire scene, the most interesting part was the launch crane itself with the mast, boom, cradle and sling, etc. with a delightful distortion on the rippled surface. i took these shots with my S22 phone. none have been edited in any way.
