my goal in getting good reflection shots is often making sure they are nice and clear, as in a mirror. but there are exceptions of course, as reflections may convey more emotion and attract more interest by being less clear and inviting interpretation. now maybe you don't agree, and i can see why, but this reflection of the bathers on the wet sand is quite curious. perhaps nature intended a humorous intentionally overly sketchy presentation or perhaps there is a deeper meaning of the insignificance of the ephemeral episode when viewed in the context of the vast and timeless sea.

at any rate i found the image quite fascinating, both simple and complex at the same time- where the action and fun of the boys is reduced to a line of mere blurs yet maintaining a balance and somehow accenting the playfulness of their encounter with the immense wet element
