Bzzz, a podcast about jackets on motorcycles! 🐝🏍️ Even this little bee knows the feeling: when you fly fast, the wind gets cold very quickly, and a bump at speed hurts a lot more than you'd think. 😅
Where I live, most riders wear a jacket even in summer, often with protections on the shoulders and elbows. Some do it for the cold, some for safety, and some, let's be honest, because it just looks cool! 😎🧥

In the UK helmets are compulsory, but when I rode a motorbike (not for a while) I wore a leather jacket, gloves and boots. I mostly had leather or other padded trousers. This could get hot in the summer (not as hot as yours), but I had a couple of minor falls and I would have lost skin without this gear. You can go so fast that the consequences of an accident can be very serious. Even on a bicycle I wear a helmet, but it is not practical to have all the other gear and I go a lot slower anyway.
I 100% agree - wearing protection is very important. I am scared of motorcycles so I will not ride one ever in my life haha but if I would have to - I would wear at leeeast some protection like a jacket and helmet :D
