Hive Accumulation Progress - Sept 8th

My long term goal is to reach Hive Dolphin Status. I am only 5 HP short rom reaching 4000 Hive Power so I should be there is a couple of days. Then I will be aiming for 4500 Hive Power as my short term target. I will be trying to earn 100 HP per week.

Targeting Dolphin Status

Dolphin Status may still be a ways away but every week if I can add to my Hive Power will get me just a little closer to that goal. I know it is just a new title with no additional benefits but it does give me something to aim for.

Even though I might not reach it this year, I am not just going to give up trying to do as best I can this year, I will continue to post and do as good as I can to make progress toward that goal.

To achieve Dolphin status you must have 10,000,000 Vests.

I currently have 6,625,359 from 6,614,894 Vests in last report. This is an increase of 10,465 Vests up from last period reported, so still like 3,374,641 Vests.

Activity on the Hive blockchain while earning Hive translates into Vests. I am not very knowledgeable about how the back blockchain calculations regarding Hive Power or how Vests work but only know that I need to target 10,000,000 Vests points to advance to the Dolphin status.

New Lesson Hive Engine lease board

Some of the Hive Power Leases that I made in August are now maturing. I have made a total of five Hive Power Leases in the month of August. All five with an APR over 10%.

Important Note
I discord that as they mature, you must go to the expired Leases tab o the Leases menu and click on the "Undelegate" button to otherwise the Hive Power will stay delegated earning nothing (curation or lease payment).

I think leasing Hive Power is a good option however you must do you own research and calculation to see if it is a good deal for you. You must keep in mind the 10% fee that Hive Engine withholds from each payment and also the cool down period before the Hive Power can start earning curation rewards again.

Based on my current curation APR and those two above items, I will need to receive over a 10% APR per lease to be better off.

Hive and HBD Accumulation

I changed the format of my progress update posting to not be as granular in all the detail. I will continue with the higher level post and just report my current amounts.

Liquid Hive - 25.390
Staked Hive - 3995.631 of which 3382.830 is delegated

Liquid HBD - 10.024
Staked HBD (Savings) - 142.553
(Staked HBD earned Interest - 0.211)

Also, I did add more HBD to my HBD savings to take advantage of the 15% APR savings rate as well. I need a much higher savings level to earn enough to make a difference.

I think tracking my ranking will also be of value when measuring my progress. This week I actually loss two positions in the ranking. I am currently ranked 2723 from 2721 holder of Hive Power last week in the ranking. By tracking this metric, I am hoping to move up in the ranking each and every week.

Dropping in the ranking was a surprise so I will need to try harder to improve more next week. As I get higher in the rankings, it will be more difficult to pass others. My assumption is that people with a higher ranking are more active thus earning around the same or more than I am earning thus making it harder to move up.

Alive Target

Alive is one of my largest holding on layer 2 of Hive. I have been trying to be more active in the community activities as well. I believe every little bit can help.

I staked 100 additional Alive tokens since my last report.

The value recovered some from last week but I think everything in crypto is volatile so you have to keep your cool along the way. It is just a normal pricing cycle that I have grown accustom.
