What's the reason behind the difference in the steps in the image and the steps in the actual report?

the app is not updating the number in the main screen. Although, it is getting updated when I post.

I see.. I guess, will have to wait for their response then.. But, the good thing is that the steps count is showing before I post it.. It is just the main page that takes time..

For your issue on the dashboard, you might need to change the current tracking mechanism by clicking the double arrow button, this switches you to either sensor tracking, Health connect or fitbit, depending on your needs.
