"If You Could Meet Your Younger Self, What Would You Say?"

Hello amazing #indiaunited friends. How are you doing this day. I hope you are enjoying the weather. Welcome to my blog.

Sometimes, during my hours of reflection to my yesteryears and looking back to my younger self, I have come to terms that there are things I would have handled better, mistakes and some regrets. On the other side, I have also observed little wins, bold steps taken and landmarks made here and there compared to the person I am today.

So, if I could meet my younger self, it would be a mother and child conversation which will first of all begin with an assessment through the life she has lived. I will reassess my younger self, it will be set goals versus the accomplished goals, giving a thumbs up on the bold steps taken in life, the achievement and the wins.

On the other hand, I will take a look at the mistakes, failures and how the lessons from those failures have either improved or demoralised her. If those mistakes broke her in the past, I will encourage her to brace up for the dynamics of life noting that tears are not meant to be shared rather success stories.

Furthermore, knowing better ways to manage rejection, and disappointments, I will encourage my younger self never to share her ambitions to avoid copy writers and people who are willing to ride on another persons wings to their dream land rather than theirs. Letting her know that not everybody may like her but she should be loyal, brave and true to her self and goals.

I will correct any wrong move towards life that was made in the past especially in terms of trust, resilience, healthcare and eating a balance diet. Taking exercise and building relationship. I will correct the wrong assumptions of living a life of I don't care attitude instead of a planned and purposeful living filled with set goals, consistent saving and quiet time.

Going forward, I will inspire her with stories of great entrepreneurs and scholars who have made it genuinely,diligently and through resilience reiterating to her that she can also become successful irrespective of what life throws to her because where there is a will there is a way.

Finally, after the conversation, I will give her a big hug, Walk down the stairs with her hands in mine and usher her into a victorious living.
