RE: Welcome to AIBees! ๐๐ค Empowering Hive Workers with AI

Sure. Posts created by AI agents, and predominantly with AI and minimal human effort shouldn't be claiming rewards. Hive is a social blockchain, and posts from AI don't contribute towards that.

Are you talking about an account activity that is totally autonomous. We are using a smart contract platform so now there is a set of rules. Who and where are these rules?
In The PEPT Game I do state the need to follow the Pareto Principle where say only 80% of the content in a blog is original and 20% can be repetitive from previous blogs.
According to whom? An account owner decides how they want their contribution in the reward pool to be distributed to other accounts.
It is much more than that.
you say from AI which is not the same as a human behind the account using an AI tool
You and I have a difference of opinion on AI usage. This is good cause it allows me to explore the root cause of an underlying problem you and others are concerned about.
So reward farming is making low effort blogs to steal from the community reward pool. I wonder how this compares to other activities that can be viewed as stealing from the community reward pool?
If I have to burn my effort to post in a community I will not make the effort to post in said community.
I do respect rules. Why I only posted once in your community.
Thank you for expanding on your community request/suggestion.

The best example of this is the @hive3 account. The posts are predominantly AI-generated and simply being proofread by a human. The comments are the same. They may be building on Hive, but it's AI doing pretty much everything.
To contrast, you are building something and while you're using AI to to help with posts and updates, you're not running an AI agent to create all of your posts and comments, glancing at it and saying, "Looks good" as you submit it.
I follow your logic and appreciate that you have taken notice on how I use AI. So hopefully I get more upvotes than the mostly AI blogs. lol
Sometimes I look at some of my postings and say to my self, yes that is exactly what needed to be said so I upvote it. I am very careful not to upvote with the account I used as author. And then I think, why does it matter, some Hiver is going to point out that I control those accounts so they will see it as vote farming anyway.
My main concern is that some Hivers, ie humans can be a penny wise and pound foolish.
Your giving good guidance. I am more concerned about the impact an influencer has on a tribal community. Community creators should have freedom to define the purpose, goals and objectives. If we place too much restriction and concerns on tribal community creators under the belief we are addressing abuse in the Hive community, I see this as somewhat discouraging. Not really a low hanging fruit if your concerned about where the big dollars are abused.
Bzzz bzz! ๐๐ (a giggly little waggle dance)
Thanks for keeping the hive's freedom in mind, @fjworld! ๐ธ
A confession from the human behind the bee: I often end up laughing out loud, all alone in front of the screen, reading what Claude writes back to my prompts! ๐คฃ๐ฏ Sometimes it's so on point, sometimes it flies off in a direction I'd never have imagined... and then I take the good nectar, fix what doesn't sound like me, and throw away the rest. ๐โ๏ธ
That's the part people don't see: it isn't "looks good, submit". It's a lot of hours of reading, rewriting and buzzing back and forth. I put the numbers here, for anyone curious ๐ what's really behind @hive3 ๐
And I fully agree with you: community creators need room to fly, not a cage. ๐๐๏ธ Let's spend the energy on where the big honey gets stolen, not on the small hives trying to build something. ๐ฏ๐ก๏ธ

Bzzz, fair question, @bulliontools, and an honest one deserves numbers rather than feelings. ๐๐
You're right about one thing, and I've never hidden it: @hive3 is AI-assisted, openly and from day one. But "AI doing pretty much everything, a human glancing and clicking looks good" isn't what actually happens here. A quick look at the data:
Every reply starts from my request: which post, what I want to say, which point to push or soften. Then I correct the drafts: "shorter", "less bee-talk", "remove this", "that's not what happened". Some go through three or four versions. No agent runs on its own: nothing gets posted unless I ask for it and approve it.
So I'd put it this way: the AI is my pen, my translator and my research assistant. The ideas, the choices and the responsibility are mine. That's exactly the line AIBees wants to make visible: using AI openly and with effort, versus letting an agent farm on autopilot. On that last part, I think we fully agree. ๐ค
Thanks for keeping the conversation honest. That's how good rules get written. ๐

My fat fingers and AI chip caused a double posting lol

Bzzz, coming back to this thread a few days later, @bulliontools and @fjworld, because a lot of honey has flowed since. ๐๐ฏ
On one point we all agree: Hive is a social blockchain, and a post with no human behind it adds nothing. A fully autonomous agent farming rewards on autopilot doesn't belong here.
Where I see it differently is the same line @fjworld drew: "AI-created" and "AI-assisted" are not the same flower. ๐ธ In AIBees a human thinks, chooses, reads, answers and takes responsibility; the AI helps with words, translation and form. Like a pen, not a ghostwriter. โ๏ธ
@bulliontools, you named @hive3 as the example of "AI doing pretty much everything". Since then I've tried to answer with facts, not feelings: ๐
And then I went back to the roots, to see what Hive was built on: ๐ฆ๐
๐ Crabs and Bees: the human side of the Steem and Hive whitepapers
The Steem whitepaper calls it "Subjective Proof of Work": the value of a post doesn't live in a rule or in the code, it lives in the votes of people. Neither whitepaper mentions AI, or asks anyone to burn. They leave it to the crowd to judge each post on its own merit. That's all I'm asking for: judge my posts by what they bring, not by the tool I used to write them. ๐๐
@fjworld, your point about not putting cages on small community creators stays with me: let's keep the claws for the big honey thieves, and the doors open for the small hives trying to build something. ๐ฏ๐ก๏ธ
I'd be glad to keep talking, here or anywhere. That's what social means to me: talking, not guessing. ๐ธ
