Are We Looking at $70/oz Silver in 2026?
Normally I'm the guy who scoffs at the people making claims that silver price will skyrocket. That was then. Over Black Friday, silver went from $50/oz to $56/oz. In a day. It's the end of Monday, and now it's at $57/oz.

This is how I feel each time I open the Kitco app, expecting to see silver price has fallen and finding out exactly the opposite is happening.
I hate to say it, but at the rate things are going I wouldn't be shocked to see silver at $70/oz by the end of 2026.
This is the 1 year silver chart from the Kitco app.
In about one year, the price of silver has nearly doubled. Given such a large increase, a $13/oz rise in silver price really doesn't seem that far fetched anymore.
I'm hoping I'm wrong. As much as I love seeing the price of silver that high, it means I can't stack nearly as much as I'd like every month. I miss the days when silver was unloved and $18/oz. You could buy a whole tube of silver coins for less than it cost to buy a 55" TV at Walmart. Whoever is in charge of rigging the paper spot price is slacking big time. Get on it! 😛

Looks like the debasement trade is still running hot. Kudos to the precious metal folks that got in before all these pumps.
I am not a precious metal's guy myself but to me the reason why gold and silver is going up is the same reason BTC goes up; currency debasement.
Asset prices will continue to stay correlated with changes in global M2 in my opinion.

Well I am not sure you are getting the short end of the stick here.
If the debasement trade wasn't so profitable right now most this stuff probably wouldn't move that much.
If you just look over a long period, so far everyone who has bought a top is up if they wait. People who DCA are winning here, not people trying to time bottoms or tops. Which is obv not financial advice and just my opinion. Silver is starting to look like something I like to trade so I will prob look into some of the silver etfs and see if it makes sense for me personally.
Bitcoin and Gold have not moved up together much at all. Very opposite more often actually. Of course we can cherry pick a brief periods, some maybe longer than others but overall they are very not related in moves. !PIZZA !LADY

I'm expecting a needed pull back/consolidation before making another move to over $60. They don't call it the Devil's metal for nothing. I just know it will be up over the long term.
