Inktober 9: Ram

Day 9 and I'm a little late because I just got out of a meeting and I hatfriday meetings before lunch because they tend to drag but hey!!!! I still a doing this because I legit slept so late just to finish this one XD I almost had to redo it because I just wasn't feeling it enough. Good thing my man was motivating me and was telling me that h was seeing the progress so I should try to finish it as far as I could before giving up. Ending was, he just watched me draw while h was gaming with his bestie it was a cute moment because he had his phone pointed at him and hishuge ass screen in case I wanted to stare at something else aide from paper XD

So it actually turned out way better than how I started with it XD and it didn't start with much indeed XD

Because I started with this weird orange base and I thought it would transition as I went along because I wanted to do holy ram baking in the sunset glow (I don't know why this concept either XD)

Then I started building up the layers and it wasn't coming out the way I hoped it would? That or I am simply just terrible at starting animal drawings XD at least to me cuz I am not a fan o the fur details yet here I am, still trying to pull I off in tiny tiny details

This was before and after I added another ink layer to give it some background at least then after that I went for dinner XD By the time I as done eating, it was done and I think I spent another hour just refining the furthen just doing the head because it had way too much shadows to it and I was not thrilled to do the face contours,this is basically when I was giving up

But then I looked t it from afar and it was really taking shape. So I did the final touches, did the highlights, then lo and behold:

My beautiful ram was finished !!!

One of my lab guardians even said it was one handsome ram when they saw it and even threatened to cook it XD but oh well, I'll take it as a sign that they like it.
And I have another meeting in 15 minutes so I'm gonna have to prepare now. This is all from me for the day,I shall be back later ortomorrow, depends on how much energy and brain cells I have left after my shift so bye for nowwwww
