Emerald cockroach - Draw a bug a day

I feel jealous of places that get colourful cockroaches when my home area only gets brown ones. I just loved the look of em, they're so pretty and shiny.

I started with a sketch as I often do.

I ended up re-doing/refinding the sketch quite a few times.

I then did some colour blocking in.

I then went in and did highlights.

Then theres the cute little head and antenea.

Then roughing in some stone texture.

And viola!
