January LPUD - Woo-Hoo !
It's 15th January, and LEO Power Up Day.
To be honest, I've had such a crazy hectic day at work and doing "real world" things that if I hadn't spotted @hoosie 's LPUD post I might have completely missed out. So that proves that LPUD posts work 😁

My original plan at the beginning of the year was to buy enough liquid LEO that when it was added to the steady flow of delegation rewards I'd have enough in reserve for three or four LPUD's at 150 each, without having to buy more.
But when I powered up tonight, my first attempt threw up a Hive Engine node error. So I waited a few seconds and sent it again. Only to find it had processed the first one after all. So I ended up powering up 300 LEO, meaning I'll probably have to buy some more soon anyway.

It's not the end of the world, but is a useful reminder to me that as time goes on and the blockchain grows, Hive Engine transactions are no longer virtually instantaneous. They can take a noticeable time, and I need to learn to be patient !
Apart from this minor glitch, I'm sticking to my original plan for 2024. That's to gradually increase my Hive Power delegation to @leo.voter and to delegate staked LEO to @meowcurator until the two together plus author rewards are enough to earn 150 LEO a month. That way I don't have to buy any to be able to do LPUD.
At some point, I'll have enough LEO staked to have a useful vote value. There should be a point where the potential curation earnings outweigh the delegation earnings, at which point I can undo the delegation to @meowcurator and then earn enough through HP delegation plus LEO curation to cover LPUD. I'll have to try to work out how many LEO I need staked to get to that point !
