The table was the size of a small continent. The men sat around it looked like the board of exectutives of a global corporation, and in a way they were, but they somehow gave off an impression of sleaze and disreputability greater even than the businesses which were household names. Something they were not.

The man at the head of the table spoke.

"Gentlemen, our last four shipments to Europe were all intercepted. Not just the small bait consignment; ALL of them. Who is responsible ? I want them bought, frightened, or eliminated. Fast."

From the far end of the table, a younger man spoke. "Customs have got some new technology. An AI-powered robot dog wity a powerful suite of sensors. Odour detectors, X-Ray vision, the works."

The Boss frowned. "Can it be disabled ? Ideas, anyone ?"

Rico raised a hand. Every inch the stereotype of what a geek was expected to look like, he was their cyber expert.

"I think I can get into it's code, Boss. I have an idea. It has a service compartment, the Customs guys mostly use it to cart their sandwiches around. But we have a man on the inside. He can put packets of merchandise inside, move them one at a time through the Customs area. But more than that, it's sensors will pick the packets up without being able to pinpoint them. They'll find the packets and know their own AI technology has been infiltrated."

The Boss smiled an evil smile.

"Great idea Rico. Fit the dog up. Frame it."
