Valkyria Chronicles is a Turn-Based Strategy game set in a fantasy world based on World War II. The story follows Squad 7 of the Gallian Army, as they push back against the Empire threatening to invade their land. It's an anime-style war story, with a lot of heart!

I love this game's presentation. The storybook frame around every scene, the water-colors filter on top of 3D models. The way the story is predented if it's a History Book! It's originally a PS3 game, but it has better animations & presentations compared to modern games in 2025. Playing it is a treat for me, and I hope watching my playthrough would be a treat for you too.

The squad leaders, including Welkin and Faldio were invited to the royal party celebrating an alliance between Gallia and the Federation. Faldio shows disgust as the regent Borg implies they'll be working with the Federation to invide the Empire's lands.

"We're not fighting this war to invade other countries..."

After the celebration, the princess got Kidnapped by the federation. The ambassador thay came to sign the deal turned out to be a spy.

This was a fun mission! I love the missions that change the gameplay. This time, we're not allowed to use Cannons or Grenades as they'd harm the city. Makes this an interesting Tank chase with only light firearms!
