D1AL-ogue (Mini-Review)
D1AL-ogue is a futuristic puzzle game with Visual Novel elements. It tells the story of a maintenance worker of androids and his relationship with his regulars who happen to be pretty robot girls.
It's a short game with retro aesthetic, and a simple puzzle system that gradually introduces new mechanics until the end. I enjoyed the game so much and got a lot better at the end, that I finished it a second time to get a high enough score for each character's ending.
D1AL-ogue does an amazing job worldbuilding the city as each character reveals a lot about the world and themselves in the short conversations between the repair sessions. The player character, Chris, runs a repair shop using the titular D1AL device, and his social circle is compromised only of his sister, and his regular visitors: Pray, a cafe employee, Lianne, a pharma worker, and Orca, a special security unit.
The story builds up well as the seemingly unrelated events connect near the end. It all connects with Chris, his sister Michael somehow. Chris character learns to overcome his trauma!
I totally recommend this game if you like Puzzle games, Pixel Art, have 5-8 hours to enjoy a somber yet hopeful story!!

It looks like that game needs an update to explain more about the characters, especially the player character Chris (not shown if he is human, android, cyborg, or something else), the androids, and his sister. 🤯 Anyway, your post is interesting and made me search about the game. 😎

Knowing more about the protagonist and his sister are the whole theme of the story, so it's all good there in my opinion.
And I ashamedly confess that I wasn't sleepy when I made these mistakes. !LOLZ !LUV
According to people who already played that game, such game really needs some sequel to help explain what's missing from the current game. 🤔
