Power Up Match April 2026 -Input wanted about new experiment

I am going with the data on Hivestats.io At the time of this post it showed 30 day curation earnings of 19.2 HP. So I am matching that amount and powering up.

I did make a change in curation the past month or two. I may make a full post on it(along with more general updates) but basically this account is now following the @tribefairy and BBH trails for curation.

I have some ideas of things to do on this account for the future/ the rest of the year. I may make a proposal post of sorts to see what the community thinks.

If I increase outgoing ecency delegations then I could run some comparison in terms of earnings if I matched the effective HP and can compare earnings From where I am at now it looks about the same earnings wise . This could be a fun experiment.

Outgoing delegations
Ecency -930

If I wanted to compare ecency earnings to curation That could be done by increasing delegations which would mean increasing HP on this account. I have about 550 HP not delegated. If I delegate all or most of that it would decrease the effective HP to about 2200-2300, while increasing the outgoing delegation to ecency to 1400-1500. But If I were to say balance them so that the effective HP is around 2000 for each, that's more easily doable and would only require about a 500 HP increase on this account. I do have some swap.hive on this account and also some on @tribefairy combined that would cover about 250-300 of that 500 number. This is a very achievable goal.

The unicoin.market account already has enough swap.hive for the next scheduled buybacks in addition to this.

I want to hear from folks first. Would doing such a comparison curation vs ecency earnings be valuable or should I just focus on other things? If I do the comparison I will likely doing it weekly or bi-weekly over a couple of months to get a good average.

I also expect even if delegating to ecency is at a slight loss I will be blogging about the results and those earnings should compensate for any losses. I am not expecting any major losses. I would also make a couple of posts before the experiment starts about the increase in HP and delegations and other stats. I am not concerned about loses.

Even if the balances aren't exactly matched I can still get a feel for the earning percentage. I don't expect the balances to be exactly equal, that would be damn near impossible considering incoming delegations are something beyond my control. But I can keep the balances close enough that they are in the same ballpark.

Depending on how that experiment goes I can then choose to un delegate to ecency (at least partially)and increase my delegation to EDSI after if that makes sense. I am considering setting a goal of 2500 HP outgoing delegation to EDSI as an end of year goal for this account.
