Love it! You use your accent to your advantage, so sad you got your knuckles beaten. I remember the teachers threatening us with the ruler. I don't remember getting hit with one though, generally it was the boys, lol.

Yes I still use it to my advantage today. It can come in quite handy lol. Ah the joys of punishment. That was about the worst thing I got from the teachers. Boarding school and older boys was a totally different story 🤣
