Found my buzz again on Hive and enjoying the journey again!
Finiding my Buzz on Hive
Good morning buzzers! A bit of a slothly weekend again for me, so playing catch-up as always! I was thinking the other day that my posts are a bit all over the place, but still relatively on topic. I think.
I mean, recently I've been buzzing about Slothbuzz and SlothsMiningWar. But I also like having the odd 'random post' or 'personal story'. It's an odd one; should I split my account into different aliases for different stories...
Sometimes I'm trying to convince a whale that Slothbuzz has potential; it's a professional body...then they come and read my recent ramblings about Shortform content complaining about games and 'spam' clogging up the shorts feeds. Which, funnily enough, is exactly what I'm trying to get the dev of #slothsminingwar to do!
I'd much rather they check out my 'How to play SlothsMiningWar' guide; that was a much better-put-together post, not just the ramblings of a mad slothman!
Sloth and steady does it
Either way, things are coming together nicely. Sloth and steady, my motto over the course of my Hive adventure! Sometimes it looked like we were buzzing, then the sloth would hit, and hit hard! Other times we seemed to be slothing, to the point of an almost permanent hibernation, then the buzz would kick in, and it would be action stations again!
This year has seen us starting with just our #SlothlySavers initiative, slow and steady, one post a week, nothing too daunting. Next came the first batch of updates to Slothbuzz.com, there was a real buzz around it! Finally, we got to Sloths Mining War, and look at us now!
Daily posts, tipbots, engage features, friends, relationships heck, I'm even sitting listening to the relaxing 24/7 Chill Slothbuzz Radio whilst I type this post! Not to mention my little Sloth pet chilling in the corner, throwing out motivation to keep on buzzing!
I'm proud of how far things have moved over the last year, 6 months, a month, in fact; even the last few days have seen a buzz! It's awesome to see the Slothbuzz community slothly grow; more people are finding their buzz with Slothbuzz, sharing content using the #slothbuzz tag, hanging with their fellow sloths at Slothbuzz Hangs, and saving towards their goals with #slothlysavers!
There really is something for everyone at Slothbuzz, something that can make you buzz and support you along your journey on Hive! Whether you like to buzz or take it a little more sloth! Keep being you, keep buzzing; sloth and steady does it!

Oh, one more thing! Did you actually read this far? Well, check out this other link! I know, links galore. Apparently, according to SEO, it helps with proving posts are decent content or something...knowing me, I'm overdoing it and making the links look like spam or something, but that's a topic for another day! What I do want to mention is the new 'One Word Story' game (is game the right word? Probably not...adventure, initiative, thingy?!?!)
I started the One Word Story on Hangs the other day and had a couple of people chiming in; then we had a quiet day with no more words! So, I'm inviting you all to come check it out, add a word, and help us build some more buzz!
I'm planning on adding more events to Slothbuzz again, maybe even going back and trying to get a Zealy campaign on the go again, to give users more reasons to buzz with Slothbuzz, as if there weren't enough already!
I mean, we have a low-liquidity curation token that's almost deflationary, as Slothburn pointed out in this post. We have Sloth pets, Sloth radio and Sloth Hangs to go alongside our Game and website!
MEMEs, writing contests and giveaways? Why not!
I think we're going to bring back the Slothbuzz Meme contest, because everyone loves a slothly meme! Maybe even Slothbuzz power-up day, although there's not much Slothbuzz for people to power up with! Too much being burnt daily by Sloths Mining War!
What else could we have? I guess we could try some story prompts too...plenty of sloth adventures we could have, with a week to write them, because we all sloth sometimes! Well, plenty for me to think about, and I'd love to hear your opinions on Slothbuzz so far, and what we can do to improve it further! What do you want your Slothbuzzing Hive site/community to do?
