The Impact Economy Starts With Xoob & Nomisma

Traditional blockchains were supposed to kick off a new era after the 2020 DeFi summer! We wanted a fully decentralized, trustless internet where users actually own their data and value flows without friction.

That vision still sounds great, but in practice things haven’t quite lived up to it. The biggest issue is that most blockchains weren’t designed for the kind of complexity we’re now trying to push onto them.

Early architectures work fine for simple transactions, but once you start layering in advanced DeFi strategies, real-time data feeds, or anything even remotely AI-driven, cracks start to show.

Introducing Nomisma Network as an early-stage blockchain project building an AI-focused DeFi infrastructure layer. It aims to support decentralized applications by using a “subchain” model.

Throughput becomes a bottleneck, latency creeps in, and suddenly “decentralized” apps rely on off-chain computation or patched-in solutions just to function.

And that’s where the quiet compromise happens. A lot of projects end up leaning on Web2-style infrastructure with centralized APIs to keep things running smoothly.

It works but it dilutes the whole point. You get something that looks decentralized on the surface, but underneath it’s stitched together with partial solutions and hidden dependencies.

Data is another major pain point. Modern DeFi is about complex strategies, risk models, cross-chain interactions, and increasingly, AI-driven decision-making.

That requires massive amounts of structured, reliable data flowing seamlessly across the system. Most traditional chains just weren’t built for that level of data richness so they struggle to scale.

They can't scale without sacrificing either performance or decentralization. That’s why newer approaches are starting to learn and then rethink the architecture entirely.

Instead of forcing everything onto a single monolithic chain, the idea is to break things into more specialized layers or subchains that can handle specific workloads more efficiently.

Done right it can unlock real scalability not just faster transactions. Subchains can support genuinely complex, data-heavy applications without falling back on Web2 crutches.

This is where Nomisma Network is trying to shift the conversation. The focus is on enabling data-rich DeFi at scale, with an architecture that’s designed from the ground up to handle complexity.

The “zero tolerance for hidden fees and partial solutions” angle is basically a direct response to the compromises we’ve seen across the space. Maybe a new future is brewing?

Their collaboration with XOOB Network signals something bigger! If they execute it well, the next few months could see a lot more visibility around this kind of modular, data-first approach.

Because at this point, the real challenge is building infrastructure that can actually support what we’ve been promising all along. This vision needs to be shared so...

A new campaign is now live on XOOB in collaboration with Nomisma Network, 90-day campaign featuring an initial $100,000 USDC reward pool designed to reward both influence and real user activity.

As participation grows the pool can scale up to $500,000, with additional rewards unlocked through key milestone achievements. The pool is shared between CPA and ImpactShare

The $25k in the ImpactShare Pool is distributed at the end of the campaign based on your total contribution and overall impact. The $75kCPA Pool is distributed instantly upon verified user actions.

XOOB Genesis NFT holders receive an additional ImpactShare boost, amplifying all points generated, including those derived from CPA activity. This system is designed to align attention with onchain activity.

CPA is not a separate incentive layer as it directly enhances your ImpactShare results. Activity driven through your content is fully accounted for in final scoring.

Here's the tl;dr if you are interested! Join XOOB Network or skip this step if you already have an account! Go to Nomisma Network and connect wallet to create your account

You will need a Nomizen ID to be eligible for the rewards in Season 3. The positive part is that this can be minted straight away. The bad part is the $7 fee needed for the mint.

You need $ETH on Arbitrum for the transaction, and to be honest... I see another benefit! The fee is bigger than the requirements for other campaigns but hopefully will keep bots away!
