3LOOK Explained: What It Is And How It Works?
When the old InfoFi big names closed the shop or had to revamp, new projects and protocols tried to fill the gap. 3Look was one of the new kids on the block that tried to make a move!
3Look it may look like a fashion-focused social platform where people share outfits, discover style content, and sometimes take part in brand campaigns or drops but is not!
They are mixing the feel of social media with a kind of gamified focus on social media! Instead of just scrolling you’re engaging to earn recognition and rewards from campaigns.
The creator score matters on 3Look and the activity on social media helped users to get their tiers. I got a Bronze Tier with my creator score, and now looking to grow!
The way it works is pretty straightforward. You post “looks” and interact with other 3Look users’ content, or in some cases join the challenges to share a slice of the campaign's pool.
As you stay active, the platform tracks your participation and uses that to unlock different kinds of status or rewards. The 3Look Loop campaign was about spreading the word!
They also had a fast-paced campaign that shared daily a part of the $USDC prize pool, but I wasn't selected for that. Instead of early users they went for KOLs and big names!
That was a move that left me with a sour taste and a bit disappointed, considering I was an OG member. However, the game goes on and it's cool to see my 606th rank is improving.
Yes anon... I was an OG on 3Look! I have badges to prove it! The OG badges and Early badges are really about timing. You got it if you joined extremely early, between the platform’s launch or very first user wave.
It’s a status marker that shows I there at the beginning. Early badges are similar but not as cool as the OG one! This was given to people who joined shortly after the OG claim was closed.
Both are basically ways of recognizing early adopters, and they come with a bit of prestige and hopefully sometimes access perks depending on how the platform will set up.
3Look said in some messages and communications that badge holders will have early access to campaigns, or maybe multipliers. Let's see if this gets implemented soon!
