Oranges, But make it fun🍊

I want to do something fun and playful with my sketchbook so I started drawing oranges and somehow ended up making an entire little orange world.
Stacked, peeled, sliced, and diced. I drew them all just to see how many different ways I could play around with this simple fruit. I also added a few fun little quotes around them, which made the whole page feel less like a serious fruit study and more like something I’d actually want to keep looking at.
I really liked how playful the page started to feel as I progressed. There wasn’t any pressure to make every slice perfect. I could move things around, try different shapes, add words, and just keep going.
I always say my coloured pencils are not pigmented enough but they seemed to work well here, probably because I decided to be patient with layering them. Anyway, I'll use them more whenever I want to add some color to my pages...

Have a lovely day....
