Apples and More Apples

1000151056.jpg

This is the apple version of the playful orange drawing I shared here some days back.

Just like the oranges, I drew some of the apples stacked, sliced open, showing their insides, while one was peeled in a way and others diced into smaller pieces. I liked having all these different versions on one page. I feel like it made the drawing more interesting than a page full of identical apples would have been.

The half peeled one were especially fun to include because it added another texture to the mix, the peeling pattern looks creative too. The little diced pieces also gave me a chance to play around with shapes and arrangement.

By the time I finished, I had a page full of apples that looked like they were getting ready for a fruit salad, now I'm hungry🤣
It's interesting how many different things you can draw from one simple subject...

Those are so pretty!!
I am thinking of taking some drawing lessons.
We have nearby one lesson with aquarela and one with oil painting, but I am trying literally to find some free time and choose one (maybe I ll go with aquarella)
Love all your paintings, keep it up:)

Oh you should! it can be very relaxing and aquarella is a good choice, I'm also thinking of learning more mediums when I have time..

Thanks ❣️
